PACKAGING:  Zip lock 12 - 15 SEEDS

1. Original Name: Borghese Vase Roman (Borghese is the last name of a princely family of Italian background).

2. History: Developed by tomato breeder Tom Wagner (Tater-Mater Seeds, USA). As Tom specified, this is one of his earliest varieties.

3. Plant Specifications: Early-season. Growing outdoors. Short spreading and hanging bush, determinate, growing up to 1.6 feet (50 cm) tall. A good choice for growing both outdoors and in large pots.  Thin and knotted stem, thin and elongated regular leaves. Regular truss, 6-7 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: No pruning or training is required. However, this is a hanging variety so it is recommended to tie the plant no matter how hard it is. If you fail to do this, slugs may eat it and fruits and leaves will get dirty after the rain. You need to tie the longest stems (about 4-6 of them). It is not necessary to tie any short stems or suckers. This will be enough to get a beautiful bush with a cascade of clean and healthy fruits. This variety is an amazing cropper!

5. Shape and Weight: Elongated icicle-shaped fruits being thin near the stem and resembling pear-shaped tomatoes. Weight: 0.7-1 oz. (20-30 g).

6. Color: Yellow.

7. Flavor Profile: Sweet with almost no tartness. Mild tomato flavor. The flesh is juicy, and the walls are firm.

8. Culinary Use: Perfect for early fresh salads, canning whole tomatoes, sun-drying and freezing.
