PACKAGING: Sachet Zip lock 12 - 15 SEEDS
1. Original Name: Domingo.
2. History: An heirloom variety introduced by Vincenzo Domingo from Castellammare del Golfo (Sicilia, Italy) who gave the seeds to tomato breeder Dale Thurber of Delectation of Tomatoes. They took a joint decision to name the variety as Domingo because the original name was lost.
3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6.5 feet (200 cm) tall. Thick stem, regular leaf. Regular truss, 3-5 large fruits per truss.
4. Training Instructions: You can train the bush to one or two main stems. Pruning and staking are a must. You may also need to tie the clusters with heavy fruits.
5. Shape and Weight: Beefsteak fruits with lots of shallow ribs near the stem end. If you train the bush in a correct way and use good fertilizers the weight of the fruits can be more than 35.3 oz. (1 kg). However, the usual weight is 17.6-28.2 oz. (500-800 g).
6. Color: Pink.
7. Flavor Profile: One of the most delicious pink tomatoes. The fruits are meaty and juicy enough with few seeds and a soft and pleasant flavor.
8. Culinary Use: Two fruits of this variety are just enough to make a wonderful fresh salad. Ideal for juices and sauces.
