1. Original Name: Giant Belgium.

2. History: An old heirloom variety with the unknown history. Different websites report a different origin but in most cases this variety is said to originate and be released from Ohio (USA).

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for outdoors and a greenhouse. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6.5 feet (200 cm) tall. Thick stem, regular leaf. Regular truss, 3-5 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: It is recommended to train the bush to two main stems, and pruning and staking are a must. You can also tie the first clusters as the fruits will be large.

5. Shape and Weight: Beefsteak fruits, sometimes with shallow ribs near the stem end. Weight: 10.6-21.2 oz. (300-600 g) and more.

6. Color: Pink.

7. Flavor Profile: The Giant Belgium tomato produces very tasty as well as sweet and flavorful fruits, which is most important. The flesh is buttery and juicy.
