1. Original Name: Dark Galaxy.

2. History: Bred by Brad Gates (Wild Boar Farms, USA). Developed in 2011.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for a greenhouse and outdoors. Indeterminate, medium-size bush, growing 5-5.6 feet (150-170 cm) tall. Thin stem, regular leaf. Regular truss, 5-6 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: It is recommended to train the bush to three or four main stems. It is necessary to remove all suckers that grow below the first cluster and keep other suckers so that three or four stems could keep growing. It is recommended to tie all big stems.

5. Shape and Weight: Round and smooth fruits. Weight: 1.8-3.5 oz. (50-100 g).

6. Color: Very beautiful and unique fruits. Swirls of purple anthocyanin and dark green spots and marbling on the green background at the mature-green stage. When fully ripe, the fruits are dark blue near the stem end while the main background is brown with golden spots. Pink in a cut.

7. Flavor Profile: Sweet and slightly tart with a pleasant fruity aftertaste. The flesh is buttery and soft, and the walls are thick.

8. Culinary Use: Perfect for eating fresh. Very delicious in salads. A good choice for making wonderful sauces.

Dark Galaxy was developed as early as in 2011 but the color of the fruits may still vary. For example, there may be no golden marbling. However, you will receive the seeds we collected from the fruits you can see in our photos. Dark Galaxy has proved to be a stable variety.
