An amazing variety with tidy dwarf bushes and wonderful fruits!

1. Original Name: Aftershock.

2. History: Bred by Blane Horton (Florida, USA) (GalacticMagicSeeds.com). A recent variety. A sister to Pit Viper.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for growing both in a greenhouse and outdoors. Dwarf bush. Thick and firm stem. Large dark green rugose leaves looking like leaves of other dwarf varieties. However, this variety is not related to the Dwarf Tomato Project! The bush can grow up to 3.3-4 feet (100-120 cm) tall.

4. Training Instructions: This variety has medium-size plants so no training or pruning is recommended. Suckers do not grow fast. However, it is necessary to tie the main stems otherwise the bush can bend and fall on the ground because of wind. There can be 3-6 large stems on average.

5. Shape and Weight: Smooth and round cocktail-type fruits. Weight: 2.1-2.8 oz. (60-80 g).

6. Color: Swirls of orange, red and brown stripes on the dark green background. The longer the fruits ripe, the darker they turn. Green with red spots in a cut.

7. Flavor Profile: Very sweet, very juicy and very flavorful! This is a real fruit. The flesh is buttery and can melt in your mouth. Fruity and spicy flavor.

8. Culinary Use: A good choice for eating fresh in salads. Ideal for amazing flavorful sauces.

Aftershock is a recent variety and those people who have already tried growing it have reported that the color may change a little, with stripes becoming less distinct. Our bushes produced fruits of a regular shape and color meeting the original characteristics.
