Tomato 'Lithium Sunset'

1. Original Name: Lithium Sunset.

2. History: An analogue of the Sunrise Jazz variety. Selected by members of the Tomatoville forum from Red Jazz (Fred Hempel, USA). There are only minor differences in the color of fruits and leaves.

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for growing outdoors and in a greenhouse. Indeterminate, tall bush, growing up to 6.5 feet (200 cm) tall. Thick stem, light-green regular leaves being slightly curly at the top. Regular truss, 3-5 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: It is recommended to train the bush to two main stems, and staking and pruning are a must.

5. Shape and Weight: Beefsteak fruits with rare shallow ribs near the stem end. Weight: 7-14.1 oz. (200-400 g).

6. Color: Yellow with orange and light-pink streaks. The flesh is yellow with pink marbling in a cut.

7. Flavor Profile: Sweet and slightly tart, well-balanced and pleasant. Intense tomato flavor with a fruity aftertaste. The flesh is very juicy and buttery.

8. Culinary Use: Perfect for fresh salads, juices and sauces.
