Tomato 'Pendulina Red'

1. Original Name: Pendulina Red.

2. History: An old variety originating from Sweden. Developed as early as in the 1960s by Weibulls (Sweden). A sister to Pendulina Orange.

3. Plant Specifications: Early-season. A good choice for a greenhouse and outdoors. You can also grow these tomatoes in pots. Determinate short bush, growing up to 1.6 feet (50 cm) tall. Thin stems, slightly round regular leaves. Regular truss, 4-6 fruits per truss.

4. Training Instructions: No pruning is required but it is recommended to tie the longest stems.

5. Shape and Weight: Round fruits with barely visible small pointed tips. Weight: 0.5-0.7 oz. (15-20 g).

6. Color: Bright red with red flesh.

7. Flavor Profile: Sweet and slightly tart. Intense tomato flavor. The flesh is very juicy.
