1. Original Name: Tumbling Tiger.
2. History: Selected in Great Britain. At the initial stage, it used to be a hybrid but it later became a stable variety due to the fact that many breeders were growing it for many years.
3. Plant Specifications: Early-season. A good choice for growing outdoors and in containers (in large pots or planters). Very short spreading and hanging bush, growing up to 0.6-0.8 feet (20-25 cm) tall. Thin and knotted vines. Regular leaf. There are 5-7 fruits per truss.
4. Training Instructions: No pruning or staking is required. When growing outdoors, it is recommended to mulch the plant using agrotextile (if you use straw or hay, slugs may appear).
5. Shape and Weight: Elongated plum-shaped fruits. Weight: 0.7 oz. (20 g).
6. Color: Red with vague and blurry green stripes and streaks. The flesh is red.
7. Flavor Profile: Very sweet, with a firm meaty flesh and tomato flavor.
8. Culinary Use: A good choice for salads, canning whole tomatoes, sun-drying, freezing and thick sauces.
