Pepper 'Lesya Orange'

1. Original Name: Леся Оранжевая, or Lesya Oranzhevaya (which means 'Orange Lesya' in Russian).

2. History: One of the parent varieties was Lesya Krasnaya. Introduced by the Bilous family from the village of Prisluch (Khmelnytskyi region, Ukraine).

3. Plant Specifications: Mid-season. A good choice for growing outdoors and in a greenhouse. Short bush, growing 1.6-2.3 feet (50-70 cm) tall.

4. Training Instructions: It is recommended to tie the longest stems so that they do not break because of heavy fruits.

5. Shape and Weight: Elongated and tapered fruits with pointed tips. Weight: 3.5-5.3 oz. (100-150 g).

6. Color: Yellow turning to orange when fully ripe.

7. Flavor Profile: Sweet with a bright pepper flavor. The walls are very thick, crisp and juicy.

8. Culinary Use: A good choice for fresh salads, stuffing, canning, freezing and drying. An all-purpose pepper variety!
